The Israeli Foreign Minister also plays an important role in scheduling a visit by Marco Rubio to Bucharest, which is in the planning stages, as well as an official visit by Nicușor Dan to the White House in the May-June period.

Romania has been presented as having excellent diplomatic relations both with Israel and with Palestine, which was also emphasized by Nicușor Dan in his speech in Washington.

Within the Peace Council, President Nicușor Dan appreciated Donald Trump's involvement in the peace plan for Gaza and highlighted Romania's efforts to contribute to the reconstruction of the region.
