The parking at the Arrivals terminal of Otopeni Airport will close until 2027

The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) announced that the multi-storey parking lot for Arrivals at Henri Coandă International Airport will be temporarily closed starting August 19, until the beginning of next year.

This closure will affect 588 of the 2,226 available spaces in the airport's public parking lots. Modernization and reinforcement works for the parking lot began in April and have progressed to the stage of major interventions on the structural framework.

In the fall, a new parking lot with 1,019 spaces will be opened, located near the Arrivals building, and CNAB has initiated steps for the construction of two additional parking lots.

The Arrivals parking lot, built in 2003, shows significant degradation, and the works will include structural improvements and seismic safety equipment. Passengers will be directed to public transport means via marked routes.
