The interim Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, stated that the interest of Romanians in the Rabla 2026 program is very high, with funds requested at an accelerated pace. The program started on July 20, and in the first hour, 30% of the total budget was spent.

So far, nearly 60% of the budget has been reserved, and the funds for motorcycles have been completely exhausted. Due to the increased demand, the program's budget has been increased from 200 million to 300 million lei.

This initiative will contribute to reducing pollution, especially in large cities, by replacing old cars with less polluting vehicles. Romanians can benefit from eco-vouchers ranging from 10,000 to 18,500 lei, depending on the type of vehicle purchased, thus encouraging the adoption of green technologies. This reflects a change in the population's mindset regarding urban mobility and interest in eco-friendly vehicles.
