Supporters of Călin Georgescu provoke the gendarmes at the site of the explosion in Rahova

At the site of the explosion in Rahova, a group of 10-15 supporters of Călin Georgescu, led by influencer Makaveli, attempted to breach the safety zone established by the authorities. They clashed with the gendarmes, who explained that they were not allowed to approach. Following the incident, a man was detained for provocative behavior. The Gendarmerie emphasized that their intervention is necessary to protect people's lives and ensure the safe conduct of intervention operations.

The explosion occurred on Friday morning, causing the collapse of a part of the building and resulting in three deaths, including a pregnant woman, and 13 injuries. Authorities also evacuated the nearby high school, and the prime minister stated that the affected building might be demolished. Raed Arafat mentioned that the explosion was likely due to a gas accumulation, confirming that intervention teams were on site a day prior.
