According to a poll by the European Movement, 64% of Europeans are inconsistent supporters of democracy, preferring stronger leaders. Sweden stands out with 52% supporting democracy, while in France and Romania this drops to 30%. The survey also shows significant support for European cooperation, including the integration of EU armed forces to deal with external threats.
