A strong storm in Ploiești caused several trees to fall and damaged cars. The fire brigade had to intervene.

Thursday afternoon's storm in Ploiești caused the collapse of several trees, including on Mihai Eminescu, Cornățel and Independence Boulevard. Two trees also collapsed on Apelor street and two cars were damaged. Military firefighters intervened to remove the fallen trees, with ISU Prahova's balance sheet indicating five trees and a pole down.
