The administration of the Sinaia ski area stopped the sale of ski passes four hours after the opening due to the strong winds that caused the closure of the ski area. The measure was taken for the safety of tourists, as gondola lifts and chairlifts cannot operate in high winds. Besides these slopes, other ski slopes are open in Sinaia.
