An 18-year-old boy fell into the Bistrița canal. The searches conducted by firefighters and police were unsuccessful until nightfall.

On Tuesday afternoon, around 4:10 PM, ISU Neamț was alerted via a 112 call regarding a person who had fallen into the Bistrița drainage canal, downstream of the Reconstruction Dam. It is about an 18-year-old boy.

Firefighters and police conducted searches with the help of a boat, but unfortunately, until nightfall, the young man was not found. The search will continue on Wednesday, when a team of divers from ISU Neamț will also intervene. To facilitate the intervention of the teams, Hidroelectrica will stop the operation between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
