He collected the coins for a month, "begging" for change from shops and from homeless people. The reaction of the gas station employees was to refuse, creating a tense situation that became a symbol of drivers' frustration over the rapid increase in fuel prices.

In recent weeks, prices have exceeded critical thresholds, with diesel reaching over 10 lei per liter, and gasoline at approximately 9.23 lei.
