The General Director, Mihai Pește, emphasized the importance of digitizing the infrastructure to reduce response times in case of outages and to ensure a reliable distribution of electricity. The new integrated AADMS platform will include advanced monitoring and control modules, funded by European and own funds, replacing existing systems. These investments aim to improve the quality of the distribution service, facilitating the transition to a sustainable energy system and integrating renewable energy sources. Romanian Electric Networks operates an extensive network of 134,000 km, covering one third of the local distribution market.
