Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that, according to preliminary estimates from the State Inspection in Construction, the building affected by the explosion on Calea Rahovei is very likely irrecoverable and will need to be demolished.

The government is preparing to provide emergency aid and support for affected residents, while simultaneously checking the status of insurance policies for potential compensation. Additionally, Bolojan stated that if the building can be rehabilitated, the programs of the Ministry of Development will be used; however, in the event that demolition becomes the only option, the status of insurance for the respective apartments must be verified. In the current situation, local authorities are collaborating to ensure temporary accommodation for those evacuated, together with the Sector 5 City Hall.
