The incident took place on October 5, 2025, when the police were notified by a woman that her husband, an employee of the Timiș County Police Inspectorate, physically assaulted her. The man, who is in the process of divorce, received a temporary protection order, and criminal investigations are being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Lugoj Court. Additionally, the Timiș County Police Inspectorate has initiated a disciplinary investigation into his behavior.
