Isabelle Sava, a talented taekwondo fighter of Romanian origin, died suddenly at just 19 years old, in her sleep, following a possible cardiac arrest. The young woman, who held a black belt and won a silver medal at the 2022 Taekwondo World Championship, was studying Law at Queen Mary University in London and was about to start her second year of studies.
Her parents, Laura and Ovi Sava, were devastated by the loss of their only child, who dreamed of becoming a lawyer specializing in commercial law. Friends initiated a fundraising campaign to cover funeral expenses and other unforeseen costs. Isabelle was known for her ambition and dedication, actively involved in various student organizations and helping other young people continue their studies. Her death left a huge void in the family's life, which has cherished 19 years of precious memories.
