A 22-year-old Romanian girl died in a hospital in Nicosia after a motorcycle accident.

A young Romanian woman, Andreea Larisa Harabor, aged 22, died on Wednesday at the General Hospital in Nicosia after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Saturday on the road between Delikipou and Lythrodontas.

The accident took place around 5:00 PM when Andreea collided with a car driven by a 45-year-old man. Surveillance cameras captured the moment of impact, which occurred in the same direction of travel.

The young woman suffered a severe head injury and was rushed to the hospital, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit and intubated. Despite the doctors' efforts, Andreea died at 11:45 AM.

The Cypriot police continue the investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident, and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday to establish the exact cause of death.
