The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, sent a message on the occasion of National Anthem Day: "The future of this country is written every day, by each one of us"

On the occasion of National Anthem Day, the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, emphasized the importance of the anthem "Deșteaptă-te, române!" as a symbol of unity and identity for Romanians, both from the country and from the diaspora.

In his message, he highlighted that the anthem has witnessed decisive moments in Romania's history, promoting values such as dignity, freedom, and solidarity. The President encouraged education, critical spirit, and civic engagement, emphasizing the relevance of the anthem's message for young people.

Additionally, the Ministry of National Defense will organize military and religious ceremonies in the garrisons across the country, with a central event in Bucharest, where traffic restrictions will be imposed.

Nicușor Dan concluded the message with a call for national pride and unity.
