President Nicușor Dan declared that the Day of the Romanian Language is celebrated, for the first time, simultaneously in Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine. In a message posted on Facebook, he highlighted the significance of this moment, emphasizing that the Romanian language is an essential element of connection among Romanians from different corners of the world.

Nicușor Dan stated that protecting the rights of Romanians everywhere and promoting the Romanian language and culture are fundamental objectives of the Romanian state. He emphasized that the Romanian language represents a valuable bond that anchors us in history and opens up future perspectives. The president concluded the message with a wish for all those who speak, write, and keep the Romanian language alive, wishing them "Happy Anniversary!" on the Day of the Romanian Language.
