Nicuşor Dan reaffirms Romania's support for Kiev, on Ukraine's Independence Day

The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, sent a message of support for Ukraine on the occasion of Independence Day, marking 35 years since its separation from the Soviet Union.

"Romania remains fully committed to supporting Ukraine's EU accession process and its post-conflict reconstruction," wrote the head of state in a message published on social media.

Nicușor Dan congratulated the Ukrainian authorities and citizens, highlighting their courage and resilience. He also emphasized Romania's commitment to supporting Ukraine's integration into the European Union and post-conflict reconstruction.

Additionally, the president mentioned the importance of continuing NATO's involvement for the stability of the region, emphasizing that Romania will stand by Ukraine in these efforts.
