The multinational exercise Dynamic Front 26 takes place at the Cincu training ground in Brașov until February 13, being the largest artillery exercise in Europe under American command. It involves forces from 24 NATO countries and aims to test coordination and rapid response on the eastern flank of the Alliance. The exercise includes Romanian and Polish HIMARS launchers, as well as self-propelled howitzers, demonstrating interoperability between different artillery systems.
General Steve Carpenter emphasized the importance of this exercise for optimizing the fire support architecture and integrating strikes across all domains. The exercise includes live-fire activities and focuses on integrating effects in the land, air, maritime, cyber, and space domains, reflecting the realities of modern conflicts. Dynamic Front 26 is essential for strengthening cooperation among allies and enhancing NATO's defense posture.
