The Minister of National Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, inspected on Friday the conduct of the mobilization exercise MOBEX B-IF-25 for the reservists from Bucharest and Ilfov, emphasizing that it involves all state institutions with responsibilities in defense, public order, and national security, including the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the Romanian Intelligence Service, and the National Administration of Penitentiaries. The official stated that the exercises were conducted according to plan, with complete equipment for participants, and announced that the General Staff will carry out a comprehensive analysis of MOBEX, and the conclusions will be presented on Wednesday.
Moșteanu explained that such exercises are necessary to verify the state of the military reserve and to familiarize reservists with new procedures, while also warning about Russian propaganda that seeks to discredit the Romanian Army. He further emphasized the importance of the rapid adoption of the volunteers' law, which would allow young people between 18 and 35 years old to participate in basic military training.
