The general mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that, at the request of the City Hall, two major outdoor advertising companies will remove anti-C-section messages from the billboards they own in Bucharest.

Although a third company from Sector 3 has not yet responded to the request, Ciucu emphasized the importance of responsibility in advertising. He mentioned that, although sector city halls authorize the locations, there is no legal framework to validate messages before publication. The mayor highlighted the need for a debate on amending the street advertising regulations to prevent the emergence of inappropriate messages, but also emphasized the importance of freedom of expression.
