A 47-year-old man threatened to destroy statues in Timisoara because they are not Romanian. He was kicked out of the Timis County Directorate for Culture and fined by police officers.

The man entered the premises of the institution and caused a scandal, and was subsequently fined 1,300 lei for disturbing the peace. He was sanctioned in accordance with Law 61/1991 for the penalization of acts of violation of the rules of social coexistence, public order and public peace.
