A 62-year-old man from Bistrița-Năsăud County was fined 4,000 lei after calling 112 and threatening to blow up a passenger train traveling toward Brașov on Friday, November 6. Police identified him when the train arrived at Brașov railway station, and no dangerous objects or devices were found during the body search.

The man admitted making the call and was sanctioned for abusing the emergency number. The authorities also initiated procedures for his specialized medical evaluation, after which it will be determined whether hospitalization is necessary.
