A 38-year-old man from Covasna is being investigated for child pornography, with over 3,000 photographs of minors in explicit sexual poses discovered on his devices.

A 38-year-old man from Covasna is being investigated by the police for child pornography, after over 3,000 photographs of minors in explicit sexual poses were found on his devices. The criminal activity was documented by the police officers of the Covasna Organized Crime Fighting Service, in collaboration with DIICOT prosecutors.

It is suspected that between 2024 and 2025, the man procured, possessed, and distributed pornographic materials involving minors. Some of the victims were very young and subjected to acts of sexual exploitation. After searches, the man was detained, and prosecutors requested preventive arrest for 30 days.
