An investigation was initiated at the Territorial Inspectorate of the Border Police Timișoara, after five citizens from Albania, who were banned from entering the Schengen Area, were assisted in entering Romania. The police from Section 4 identified the group on a street in Timișoara, where they conducted checks.

Upon verification, it was found that they did not have the right to enter Schengen. The Albanian citizens stated that they entered Romania through the Moravița Border Crossing Point, with the help of some individuals. After identification, they were handed over to the Immigration Inspectorate, and the Border Police initiated internal investigations to clarify the circumstances that allowed their illegal entry.
