The Ministry of Transport has initiated a draft ordinance that provides for an increase in fees for the bridges over the Danube. Thus, the fee for cars at Fetești-Cernavodă will increase from 13 lei to 19 lei, and for Giurgeni-Vadu Oii from 11 lei to 16 lei. Fines for non-payment of the fee will start from 190 lei. The project is in public consultation and could significantly affect transportation costs for drivers.
