Valea Largă Boulevard, inaugurated in sector 6, is a modern road with two lanes in each direction, bicycle lanes and all utilities. It will ease traffic from the A1 highway to the south of Bucharest. The construction work required expropriation, but the road was completed ahead of schedule. Nicolae Ciucă, PNL candidate for the Romanian presidency, also attended the inauguration.
