A strong fire broke out on the 8th floor of a building in Sector 2 of the Capital.

A fire broke out on Calea Moșilor, in Sector 2 of the Capital, around noon, affecting an apartment located on the 8th floor of a building. According to information provided by ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, the flames were manifesting with open fire and large smoke emissions upon the arrival of the first intervention teams.

Four fire trucks with water and foam, one intervention and rescue truck from heights, one rescue truck, the Special Rescue Detachment, and two SMURD teams were mobilized to the scene. From the initial information, there are no reported victims, and the firefighters' intervention is ongoing. IGSU has confirmed that they are working intensively to extinguish the fire.
