A fire at a rehabilitation center for adults with disabilities in Suceava led to the evacuation of 27 people.

On Saturday, a fire broke out in a room of the Empowerment and Rehabilitation Center for Adults with Disabilities in Fundu Moldovei, Suceava County. The 27 people in the building were evacuated by employees, who managed to extinguish the fire before the firefighters arrived. A 29-year-old man suffered a panic attack but did not require hospitalization. The fire destroyed the mattress, bedding, and pillow in the room, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
