A serious road accident occurred on Saturday between the localities of Brezovia and Bocșa in Caraș-Severin County, involving a truck and a car. According to information provided by the IPJ Caraș-Severin, the driver of the car made an improper overtaking, entering the opposite lane and colliding head-on with the truck.

The impact was so violent that both vehicles caught fire. Unfortunately, the driver of the car was burned to death, his body being found inside the vehicle. The driver of the truck sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical care, and the breathalyzer test showed a negative result. The Reșița Fire Department and SVSU Bocșa intervened urgently at the scene to extinguish the fire and manage the situation. Authorities continue investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
