ELCEN announced that on Monday, between 09:00 and 15:00, works will be carried out to replace the gas diaphragm at the Grozăvești power plant, which will require a temporary shutdown of the natural gas supply. This intervention is essential to prevent damage and ensure the operation of the plant under maximum safety conditions.
The works are scheduled to last approximately six hours and have been planned outside peak consumption hours, when the demand for hot water is low, in order to minimize the impact on consumers. According to a statement, ELCEN chose the execution period based on the weather forecast, which predicts high temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius, to reduce the thermal discomfort of the population.
