The Ministry of Environment, through Diana Buzoianu, announced that eight candidates have applied for the position of general director of the National Romsilva Regie. Among them are doctors in forestry, engineers with experience in the private sector, and university teaching staff. The candidates include Adrian Băban, who has nearly 30 years of experience in Romsilva, Anghel Octavian, forest fund director, and Ionuț Sorin Banciu, university lecturer and former state secretary.
Other notable candidates are Nicolae Mugurel Ghinescu, Cristian Sorin Nicolicioiu, Cezar Tulbure, Jean Vișan, and Remus Petruse. Minister Buzoianu emphasizes the importance of choosing a professional capable of reforming the institution, considering the negative influences from the past. The final decision will be made by the Romsilva Board of Administration.
