Two doctors from the Felix Baths Medical Recovery Clinical Hospital have admitted to taking bribes from patients and other individuals, in the form of money, alcoholic beverages, and food products, and have accepted suspended sentences.

Two doctors from the Clinical Hospital for Medical Recovery Băile Felix, Mariana and Marius Căprar, were indicted in the spring for continuous bribery. They admitted the charges and reached plea agreements with the prosecutors, receiving suspended sentences. Mariana Căprar, aged 64, was accused of receiving bribes totaling 2,095 lei and 100 euros, while her husband, Marius Căprar, aged 65, received goods and money worth 6,521 lei and 120 euros. Both doctors were sentenced to suspended prison terms and banned from practicing in the public health system, as well as being required to perform community service. The agreements are to be validated by the Bihor Tribunal.
