Cristian Pomohaci has been sent to trial by DIICOT for high-risk drug trafficking/ The Mureș Tribunal has upheld his preventive detention.

The DIICOT prosecutors - Târgu Mureș Territorial Service have sent the singer Cristian Pomohaci to trial, who is in preventive detention, for high-risk drug trafficking. The Mureș Tribunal rejected the requests for revocation of preventive detention or replacement with house arrest, the decision being confirmed by the Târgu Mureș Court of Appeal.

Pomohaci is accused of having procured and made available to other persons high-risk drugs, including 3-CMC, between 2024 and 2026, discovered following a search of his residence, where significant amounts of money were also found. He is also involved in another criminal case regarding sexual assault and rape of a minor. Preventive detention was ordered on June 5, following the proposal of the DIICOT prosecutors.
