The Cluj-Napoca Local Council recently approved compensation of 3.4 million lei for the expropriations related to the construction of the Oașului-Muncii underground passage. The updated value of the compensation is estimated at 670,000 euros, and the project will enter the phase of obtaining the building permit and bidding. Modifications made to the feasibility study have led to an increase in the site area from 18,062 sqm to 18,253 sqm. The compensation will be covered by the local budget, and affected owners will receive the compensation within 30 days. The project, with a total value of approximately 26 million euros, will reconfigure the intersection of Bulevardul Muncii with Oașului Street, aiming to streamline traffic and improve public transport infrastructure.
