The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, signed collaboration protocols with the European Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA), and the Department for the Fight Against Fraud (DLAF). These institutions will have direct access to the MySMIS database, which contains information about projects funded by European funds.

This collaboration will allow for the rapid investigation of any suspicions of fraud, eliminating bureaucratic delays. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of transparency and control in the use of public funds, stating that every euro stolen affects infrastructure and public services. He declared that MIPE will continue to work closely with integrity institutions to ensure the proper use of European money and promote a zero tolerance policy towards fraud.
