The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) on Tuesday fined Romania TV, Realitatea Plus and Telestar 1 with fines of 15,000 lei, 10,000 lei and 2,500 lei respectively. Romania TV was fined for broadcasts that violated audiovisual legislation, including controversial titles. Realitatea Plus was sanctioned for failing to comply with the audiovisual content regulation code, and Telestar 1 for failing to inform the public of the reasons for the sanction. CNA also issued public summons for various violations.
