Agrointeligența launches Agrointeligența TV, a channel dedicated to agriculture and rural areas

Agrointeligența, an online publication specializing in agriculture, is entering traditional television after the National Audiovisual Council (CNA) granted it an audiovisual communications license on Wednesday for Agrointeligența TV. The new channel will have an agri-informational profile and broadcast programs dedicated to agriculture and Romania’s rural areas.

The television channel is owned by Vlad Macovei, founder and CEO of the Agrointeligența group and former editor-in-chief of the publication Evenimentul Zilei. Before CNA members, he stated that obtaining the license was a natural step for a media project built around an existing community since 2012.

Agrointeligența TV is designed to broadcast continuously, 24 hours a day, from Monday to Sunday. According to the project submitted to the CNA, 65% of the schedule will consist of informational programs, while 15% will consist of educational programs.

The channel will include 45% in-house productions and 55% content produced by other producers. The project does not provide for the retransmission of any programs, while agriculture and rural life are set to be central and constant themes of the new television channel.
