The radical decision of the authorities in Brașov was made over the weekend, after numerous complaints were received regarding the unsanitary conditions at a local fair. The Local Police conducted a quick inspection and found serious irregularities, including completely unsanitary food preparation areas, which endangered the health of customers. Vendors were caught selling 'phantom' products, unrelated to the festival theme, misleading visitors. Additionally, a children's train was operating chaotically, creating accident risks. As a result of these findings, the City Hall revoked the fair's operating license, forcing vendors to evacuate the area. Representatives of the Local Police announced that monitoring of public events will be intensified, emphasizing that the safety of citizens will not be compromised for the profit of vendors.
