The amusement park in Costinești has been temporarily closed by the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), after inspectors discovered multiple deficiencies that endanger the safety of users. Horia Constantinescu, the head of the County Commissariat for Consumer Protection in Constanța, stated that the amusement equipment was supported by makeshift wooden structures, which affects their stability.
Following the inspections, fines totaling 17,000 lei were imposed, and most of the equipment showed signs of corrosion, including in areas that come into contact with consumers. Additionally, the park's pathways were degraded, the electrical installations had major deficiencies, and the seats of the equipment were damaged. Constantinescu emphasized that consumer safety is non-negotiable, and the equipment must be operated under safe conditions.
