Ciprian Ciucu wants Traian Băsescu as an advisor at the Capital City Hall

The general mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that, among the former mayors of Bucharest, he would choose Traian Băsescu as an advisor, and among Sorin Oprescu, Gabriela Firea, and Nicușor Dan, he would prefer Nicușor Dan.

Ciucu revealed that he had a round of discussions with Daniel Băluță and Nicușor Dan regarding the legal implementation of the referendum for the Capital's budget, but no common ground was reached. He specified that he will have new discussions with the Minister of Finance and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, expressing his hope that he will rely on Nicușor Dan's support for the necessary reforms. He also emphasized that the separation of PNL from PSD is an "existential" issue for the liberals and that he would not support a new USL.
