Checks carried out by the Ministry of the Environment's Control Body at Romsilva revealed significant financial losses, with gross profit down by more than 83% in 2024. Unjustified bonuses and mismanagement of funds were identified, which led to the Public Prosecutor's Office being notified. Minister Diana Buzoianu emphasized the need to reform Romsilva and promised drastic measures to ensure transparency and efficiency in forest management.
