Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, made serious accusations against the leadership of Romsilva, emphasizing that the institution spent 2.7 million lei to build a headquarters that does not meet the standards of an administrative office.
The building, which was supposed to serve as the headquarters for the Prahova Forestry Directorate, was described by Buzoianu as resembling a hunting lodge, raising questions about the use of public funds. These expenses are considered by the Minister of the Environment to be an unacceptable waste, given that the money could have been used for more beneficial purposes for the community.
Her criticisms highlight the need for more responsible management of public resources within state institutions.
