The National Railway Company CFR SA announces the beginning of the installation of sound-absorbing panels on the Bucharest North-Constanța line and in the Chitila area, with an allocation of almost 11 million lei. The project aims to install 800 meters of panels to reduce the noise generated by train traffic, with an estimated reduction of about 10 dB(A) in inhabited areas. The work will take about 5 months and is expected to be completed early next year.
