Călin Georgescu appeared at the Bucharest Tribunal to find out the decision regarding his appeal against the judicial control.

Călin Georgescu was present on Wednesday at the Bucharest Tribunal to receive the verdict on the appeal filed by his lawyers against the measure of judicial control. The court will decide whether the preventive measure will be extended for another 60 days.

In front of his supporters, Georgescu thanked those present and emphasized that his only fault is that he stands alongside the Romanian people, accusing the authorities of hating the people and traditional values. He urged mayors to serve their communities and not the parties, promoting faith and national values. His lawyer mentioned that he is facing a rare panel of judges and highlighted the importance of the process.
