ANSVSA inspectors from DSVSA Ilfov conducted an inspection at the food block of the British School of Bucharest, where they discovered serious irregularities affecting the health of the students. These included expired products, such as fish with a shelf life exceeded by one year. Dr. Alexandru Nicolae Bociu, the president of ANSVSA, stated that the situation is unacceptable and ordered the cessation of the cafeteria's activities.

During the inspections, 60 kg of food with expired shelf life, unidentifiable ingredients, and serious hygiene deficiencies were identified. As a result, a fine of 27,000 lei was imposed, and the withdrawal of non-compliant products, sealing of dangerous batches, and temporary suspension of activities for 30 days were ordered. ANSVSA will collaborate with public health authorities for further checks.
