A border police officer from Borș is being investigated for two counts of bribery, after allegedly receiving money from drivers.

The border policeman Dulău Alexandru Marius, from the Borș Border Police Sector, is being investigated by prosecutors from the Bihor Tribunal's Prosecutor's Office and DGA Bihor officers for two counts of bribery. According to the Prosecutor's Office statement, on May 27, 2026, judicial control was ordered against him. Investigators claim that, in November 2025, Dulău allegedly requested and received bribes in two distinct situations.

The first act took place on November 10, when he allegedly received 500 lei from a driver to avoid sanctioning a vehicle with an expired technical inspection. The second crime was committed on November 14. Currently, Dulău is under judicial control for 60 days, being prohibited from exercising his duties as a border policeman. This case joins two other recent investigations concerning border policemen from Borș, highlighting a corruption issue among them.
