Atlassib, the passenger and freight transport company founded by Ilie Carabulea 33 years ago, is in a difficult financial situation and may close, having incurred significant losses in recent months. Some people have not been issued tickets.

The owner confirmed that the company's activity could cease soon, and customers have reported difficulties in purchasing tickets and sending packages, being informed that the buses are no longer operating. Carabulea mentioned that, although the buses are still departing, the future of the company is uncertain. Atlassib was once an important player in the field, having a fleet of over 400 vehicles and expanding into several European countries.

Ilie Carabulea has also faced legal issues, including a conviction for influence peddling in 2012. This financial crisis could mark the end of a successful business that was once one of the largest in the country.
