Between June 13-30, 2025, ANSVSA carried out the 'Zero tolerance for food irregularities' campaign, applying 336 fines and suspending the activity of 11 supermarkets and 10 hypermarkets. Almost 12,000 kg of food and 4,300 eggs were destroyed to protect public health. The campaign included rigorous controls and information sessions for food industry operators, with the aim of strengthening food safety and increasing voluntary compliance by economic operators. ANSVSA will also continue its control actions on the coast, ensuring a safe environment for tourists.
