Alfred Bulai, former associate dean and sociology professor at SNSPA, is the subject of an investigation for sexual assault and using his position for sexual purposes, after several former students reported the incidents. Following the investigation by the Ethics Committee of SNSPA, Bulai was dismissed, but he contested the decision in court, seeking reinstatement and damages. His case was registered at the Bucharest Tribunal, and the court decided to suspend the case until the resolution of another case contesting the decision of the Ethics Committee. At the hearing on January 27, 2026, the Tribunal rejected the exceptions raised by SNSPA and set a new date for April 16, 2026, thus continuing the process of contesting Bulai's dismissal.
