23% progress in the modernization of DJ 102I Valea Doftanei – Brădet

The Prahova County Council announced that the modernization works of DJ 102I, which connects Valea Doftanei to Brădet, have reached a physical progress of approximately 23% as of August 25, with a specific progress of 26-27% in Prahova County.

On site, about 130 workers and 27 machines are mobilized, working on retaining walls and embankments, gabions, fillings, and pavements. The President of CJ Prahova, Virgiliu-Daniel Nanu, inspected the works and emphasized the importance of this project for the mobility of residents and the tourist development of the area, mentioning the difficulties encountered in the mountainous region.

The modernization of DJ 102I will facilitate a new road connection between Valea Doftanei and Brașov County, providing an alternative route for traffic on the Prahova–Brașov relationship.
